The Texas Workforce Commission(TWC) is the state agency charged with overseeing and providing workforce development services to employers and job seekers of Texas. TWC strengthens the Texas economy by providing the workforce development component of the Governor's economic development strategy. Texas boasts an incredibly skilled workforce ready to attract enterprise to the Lone Star State. By focusing on the needs of employers, TWC gives Texas the competitive edge necessary to draw business here.

Background & Goals

The client needed a website with modern UI that could captivate teenagers' attention and educate them about the career options available in Texas. In addition, in accordance with the federal law, the website had to be ADA compliant.

Solution

We created a website that breaks down the career options available in Texas by industry. For each industry, multiple additional resources were provided. We also created and trained a chatbot on Azure to answer questions that users of the website may have. This chatbot was integrated with the website. We ensured that every element of the website, including the modals, videos and the chatbot popups were ADA compliant.

Results

TWC agency was extremely happy with the modern look of the website. Google Analytics showed improvement in usage. They continue to work with us to improve the site further.
